Cloonan Literacy and STEM Night 2013
Cloonan MS offered a literacy night at their school with a STEM theme! This innovative idea connected both topics and allowed for a discussion of the role of the CCSS ELA standards for SS, Science and Technical subjects to be combined with a good 'ol family fun night!
Special thanks to the behind the scene team who pulled this off of Nancy Louth and Emily Korn.
Great job to all of the teachers who dedicated their time to preparing for and presenting at the evening's 11 workshops!
Also, kudos to the PTO for adding to the fun and excitement.
Way to go Principal Dave Tate and Asst. Principal Laureen Mody for assisting with, encouraging and participating in this kind of evening!
